Custom theme or page builder?
Custom theme almost always. Page builders (Elementor, Divi, WP Bakery) accumulate technical debt fast and lock your team into the builder. Custom themes cost more upfront, save more long-term.
Headless WordPress — when does it make sense?
When the frontend benefits from a modern framework (React/Svelte/Next.js): page speed, animations, complex UI. Stick with traditional WP when the site is content-first, the frontend is simple, and editors are non-technical.
Can you migrate from WordPress to a static site?
Yes — WordPress → Next.js, Astro, or 11ty migrations are a common service. We export content (often via WPGraphQL or REST), preserve URLs, set up redirects, and shut down WordPress when the new site is live.
Do you do WooCommerce?
Yes — including custom checkout, custom payment gateways, subscriptions, multi-vendor, B2B pricing. For ecommerce-heavy projects, also evaluate Shopify; sometimes WooCommerce is the wrong tool.
What about page speed?
We hit 85–95 mobile Lighthouse on WordPress sites we build. The recipe: object caching (Redis), edge CDN (Cloudflare), critical CSS, image optimization, and aggressive query reduction. We don't rely on a single 'cache plugin'.
Security and maintenance?
WordPress's reputation for security issues is mostly about plugin sprawl. We minimize plugins, choose maintained ones, hard-secure wp-admin, and offer ongoing maintenance plans (updates, security audits, daily backups).
